Placing Orders Young Sounds titles can be ordered on-line by credit card using our secure shopping service, which will translate monetary units into any currency. We accept the following cards: Mastercard, Visa and Switch. Please do NOT send cash. Credit cards will not be charged, nor cheques/postal orders cashed until goods have been dispatched. Customers ordering on-line will be notified by e-mail when shipping has taken place.

Security The all important question: How safe is shopping on-line? While some people are fearful of giving credit card details over the internet, the reality is that very few cases of fraud have occurred as a result. You are, in fact, more at risk when giving card information to somebody over the phone, or in a high street store. Furthermore, most credit cards protect you from fraud to at least some degree, by only expecting you to pay a nominal fee should your card be used fraudulently. We are also beginning to see the introduction of cards, specifically aimed at internet shoppers, which offer full customer protection, with no charge payable should a problem arise. However, for your added protection, Young Sounds uses secure socket layer encryption to help ensure both your personal and credit card details remain known to you, and you alone.

Shipping Information We aim to dispatch orders within 5 working days of receipt. All purchases will be shipped via recorded or international recorded delivery. Orders placed within the UK should arrive within 3 working days, whilst deliveries to overseas customers may take 4 - 8 working days. It should be noted that Young Sounds cannot guarantee these time scales and we ask that UK customers wait at least 10 days before contacting us regarding late deliveries; overseas customers please allow up to 30 days. Should goods have been damaged in transit, please contact Young Sounds immediately.

V.A.T. and Import Duties Young Sounds does not currently charge V.A.T. This may change in the future, but for now you simply pay the price quoted, plus the cost of carriage. Young Sounds cannot be responsible for payment of overseas import duties, and would ask potential customers from abroad to check with their Customs Office as to the cost of import before placing orders - in some countries, such duties can be high.
